Have you ever believed that you were meant to do something? For me, it’s not just sales, it’s about empowering people. Helping companies understand how valuable people are is in my DNA.

After a successful career leading sales teams for over 25 years, and in the sales industry for over 40, it was time for my own big shift. Jumping into entrepreneurship and helping others understand the value of transition, the intrinsic value of their people, the magnetism of attraction, and the undeniable spirit that flows in the art of sales and leadership. Some call it success, some call it freedom, and I call it legacy.

It still came as a shock to my system.

I was lucky to be at the reins of my own transition. I wanted to be closer to my family, I wanted to stop traveling as much, and I realized that it was time for me to shift my focus on what I was building.

Much to my surprise, it still came with transition shock. I had to break old methods of doing things, old mindsets that got me to where I had landed, and even old habits that I realized could very well be unhealthy and not serve where I was wanting to go.

I had to shift into something different.

Now, I'm on a mission to change corporate sales culture.

For the first time in history, there are four generations of professionals working in the marketplace at the same time. Boomers and Gen Z are working in the same office and the opportunity for wisdom and learning is increasingly present, almost undeniable. People are every company’s strongest asset. The more employees are empowered to use their creativity and make inspired decisions, pursue things they love, and learn from one another - the more a company has a tremendous opportunity for growth. It's time for corporate leaders to start recognizing human beings as "creators," their most valuable assets, and stop managing them like "creatures" with a carrot and a stick. There's a new and better way to lead - "Inspire the fire within."
